StockIt
A stock management app for small businesses: see what is in stock, what is running out and what sells best, and manage several businesses from one account.
(02) Problem
Stock data only helps a business owner if it can be read in a few seconds.
Every product has a code, a quantity and a category, and every change matters. The task was to give owners a quick daily view of their stock and warn them in time when a product is out of stock or close to its reorder level.
(03) Process
Clear numbers on top, with the full history and reports one tap away.
The home screen opens with out-of-stock and reorder counters and a list of products by category. Every product keeps a history of stock in, stock out and changes, and reports show the trends.
(04) Solution
Owners track stock, see what sells and switch between businesses in one app.
The final design covers the product list with categories, barcode scanning and manual adding, stock alerts, product history, several businesses in one account and reports on stock trends, fast and slow sellers and inventory aging.
