ClipFlip
A screen recording product for teams, designed across the web app, the mobile app, the Chrome extension and the website: record your screen, edit the video and share it in a few clicks.
(02) Problem
Recording, editing and sharing a screen video usually meant switching between several tools.
ClipFlip had to replace that mix with one product that works the same everywhere: in the browser, in the extension and on the phone. The challenge was to keep rich features like editing and team libraries simple for a first-time user.
(03) Process
One product across four surfaces, with a short main path on every one of them.
Record with the extension, trim the video in the web app and send a link: the core flow stays short. Libraries, folders and team spaces look and work the same on desktop and mobile, so people never have to relearn the product.
(04) Solution
Recording, trimming and sharing a screen video takes a few clicks on any device.
The web app covers workspaces, personal and team libraries, folders, recording, video editing and a video page for viewers without an account. The mobile app keeps all your videos on the phone, and the website explains the product.
