Ginga
A companion app for a football wearable: it turns every training session and match into clear stats, so players can see how they play and track their progress.
(02) Problem
A wearable records dozens of metrics per match, but raw numbers don't help a player improve.
Speed, distance and many other data points come from the tracker after every game. The task was to turn them into something a player understands at a glance and wants to open again after the next session.
(03) Process
Simple summaries come first, and detailed analytics wait one level deeper.
Each session opens with a few key numbers and highlights, and the full breakdown is one tap away. Progress charts show how a player changes over time, and comparison with other players gives a reason to come back.
(04) Solution
A mobile app that works with the wearable to help players measure their game and improve it.
The app covers training and match stats, progress over time, comparison with friends added by QR code, the tracker status and Live Activities on the lock screen during a session. It is live in the App Store as Ginga Soccer Tracker.
